The United States has the highest teenage pregnancy rate of the Western Industrialized world. About 34% of American teenage girls have at least one pregnancy before the age of 20. Teenage pregnancy is really a huge problem. When many teenage mothers end up in welfare, it is costing the government over 7 billion dollars a year. Teen pregnancy is the consequence of early sexual activity. Children of teenage mothers are more likely to perform poorly in school, more likely to drop out of school, and less likely to attend college.
Very true. babies may not seem expensive but they are. i bet that government is p/o lol. The best way to deal with these kind of things is to plan ahead of time even though majority pregnancies are unexpected. Another way is to take consideration that unprotected sex may turn out to be a family
